In these accelerators and incubators I coached over 55 startups in total. Some startups I (still) coach on my personal title and in my company Groosman.co B.V. I was the leading founder and CEO of Salusion and built a startup that raised €1.4M in total from a mix of funding sources, creating 3 products with international patents and having an annual turnover of almost €500k, leading a team of 7 fte plus some interns and external organizations with about 50 extra people working for our projects. I’ve learned (the hard way) what works and what doesn’t work in the field of funding, organizational structure, customer relations and employees/team. After an unexpected bankruptcy I’ve coached startups in different places in the world. By sharing my experience and looking in “the kitchens” of many startups, I broadened my skillset even more. I work goal-oriented and cut all waste in my activities, I am opportunity-driven and I have a big network relevant for startups. I’m not perfect, but I’m experienced. With this experience I am strengthening startup ecosystems for the past two years now, as a consultant and coach. For my clients I provide incubation and acceleration services (strategic planning and execution), help startups in acquiring strategic funding and provide startup coaching and business plan support. As a co-founder in Surge-on Medical I recently raised €300k startup funding within 2 months. In the next months we’ll start production and clinical trials and I will be responsible of raising additional funding.
